Gfriend did bounce back as Time for the moon night did well in 2018. But Itzy and Gfriend are not comparable, one is big 3 GG and the other is not. MIM did not do very well because of poor longevity, it peaked at 10 on melon so there was definitely an interest from GP. Now, I agree that Itzy has not reached RV's level of GP interest which makes it hard to predict if they will ever get another hit as big as Dalla Dalla or not.

Itzy debuted when 3rd gen groups were still going strong so its hard to keep that momentum
