blackpink- ever since AIIYL i feel like they've been getting super brave about what they release in a sense??? like before that we had Playing With Fire and Stay and Whistle but now i think they kinda know that they can get far with just about anything they release (mostly something big and booming w beat drops etc.) because they know it'll perform well instead of releasing new music or a new concept.

dreamcatcher- they've gotten kinda better when it comes to this but they have so many filler tracks it's ridiculous. and i know that term is relative because it depends on the person but seriously for a while (until BOCA) it felt like they put all the effort into just the title track.

everglow- all i'm gonna say is they need to work on that line distribution bc it is wack.

now... i don't necessarily blame them completely but we need a concept change. it feels like the same variants of similar songs just with different outfits. i feel like they're known for "odd" or "techno" style music now and i feel like that's why it's so hard for some people to take them seriously. it is a crying shame too because "Faded in my last song" and "Baby Don't Stop" exist and the fact that "weird"/(and i hate saying this) "construction" music is chosen over songs like those is a tragedy. i stanned hardcore since pre-debut up until "Boss" and then i kinda lost interest. different people like different things but just because a song is avant garde or weird does not necessarily make it good.

i commented on blackpink above but if i had to improve something about BP it would be the time between their releases. it's literally insane and stupid and it's not their fault. like i know he is capable of rolling out mini albums like other groups but he chooses not to because of hype and if he continues that it will be detrimental for their growth

i don't like the sound of "The Feels" so far from the teasers- it feels.... inauthentic??? idk it's hard to describe. i just wish JYP would stop boxing them into the cute image when "Eyes Wide Open" was easily their best release. also i will never understand why songs with amazing KR mini album potential go to their JP albums? "Good At Love" and "PIECES OF LOVE" have such potential i want to scream and kick down the walls of the JYP building.

i feel bad criticizing her bc i met her and she's so nice but agh fine.

i wish she'd continue making songs on the same caliber of "ghostin", "goodnight n go", "Touch It", "off the table", and "everytime" instead of "34+35". don't get me wrong, i love that song and that energy bc i'm a hoe but still i feel like she could do so much better.
