Nevertheless, congrats to them.

Don’t think gender is a factor when the president assigned BTS to be their special envoy for the future generations and the culture. It’s the impact, influence and scale they had globally not only for youths but also for people of all ages. Pretty sure if a GG or any female act could have an ounce of that they could probably be considered. But now? It’s just BTS who fulfils all these requirements.

hope what changes? that more kpop groups become envoys? if a kpop group reaches the level of impact that BTS have, im sure that they would be recognized and invited to these types of events as well. so there isnt a rule in place that says only BTS are allowed, so whats there to change? Its just that the artists have to have done things for Korea and its culture that are extremely impactful and only BTS currently fit that requirement
