Well that's technique wise, but that doesn't matter as much in the grand scheme of things, and I agree about having unique voices.

I joined kpop back when all the main vocalists were vocal teachers themselves but yeah I agree that the discussion among kpop fans is too centered on classical technique, and as a teacher myself I'm not worried about any of stayc besides Sieun running the risk of getting massive vocal damage.
More than bad, they're just never been taught. I don't hear any support, no proper tightening of throat and inconsistent tongue.
Which is something very impressive in my eyes, as it's 100X harder to be stable without any support, so they've practiced a LOT. I'd argue that Stayc have more material than Aespa, Weekly and even many of ITZY because they sing live very often.
Also J(?) has a very interesting voice.

I listen and decide who is good or bad.
Granted I've never used an anon, I don't even know how to? but I did mention Stayc not having strong technique. Again, with BEP they've just never really properly learned how to support, or project the throat so they're putting in more effort. I believe Isa has an issue with her tongue placement and J has a habit of lowering her larynx to sound deeper.
However in kpop technique has been overblown: I like their songs...A LOT and if I did want to get any badges the STAYC one would be one of them. As long as they're not straining they will be okay.

It's a shame how technique has been used as a weapon.
They do sound very good though, they should do some harmonies with those registers.
