[random talk] What's the difference between "beautiful" and "pretty"?

when someone is pretty they look good and when someone is beautiful they look/are good on the inside and outside

i can show u a pic that this thread reminded me of. You can tell who is pretty and who is beautiful.

I think pretty seems more superficial and beautiful typically means something deeper

Pretty - cute, beautiful but nothing truly outstanding, more common and easy to find

Beautiful - actually outstanding, when people use this term they really mean it. It's rarer

Pretty - a person is attractive and nice to look at.

Beautiful - Truly captivating and can mean physical and emotional attributes. My partner calls me beautiful as he means me as a whole person inside and out.

Beautiful sounds like a stronger version of pretty. Like saying something is good vs something is great (not America), they both mean the same thing but one has more gravitas to it.

Pretty is face

Beauty is soul

Pretty is more cute? While beautiful is gorgeous?
