The song was far from a hit and dropping even before scandal, doing less points than dumdi dumdi launches aligned. That said I think latata can be considered a hit (for idol group standards that is). And they had another decently big song, not sure which one tho, think it was hann?

Music show wins are so meaningless, lovesick girls had 6 and is 10x bigger. I believe the aespa girls got none and their song is also very massive so... idle were just losing popularity. They are more fandom than gp based just like izone

peaks don't mean hits. And most of those peaks r also not good. Their songs struggle to do 3M uls on melon. The gaon points for their songs were never impressive. Huge fandom carried them . Izone is a hitless group.

Because Izone is a 4th gen GG with a tiny but devoted fandom while "other" groups have ginormous Korean fandoms that buy millions of albums. Remember that the PUP project raised 3 million dollars but it all came from just 23k accounts. Izone's fandom is small, their YT numbers and TW engagement numbers are paltry, but their fandom is extremely devoted (probably a lotta rich uncle fanboys lol). For them to chart like they do means that GP musta listened to them, not just their fandom.

They had the biggest fandom for a gg ever in sk. The dedication was bg level. They could line up their bsides on real-time like bgs. Their album sales were close to twice's number. Most of their yt views mostly came from sk I guess? No international presence outside of Japan. Their charting went down alot when 24hits came around as fandoms couldn't mass stream.
