Stanning is hard because we are bombarded left and right by any scandal.
But listening is extremely easy. I barely know any celeb news outside K-pop.

Hard question. As a fan of the Beatles and Stones, both groups had their share of cheaters and abusers. John Lennon in the few years before he was murdered seemed to be trying to be a good father to his second son.
I am a fan of Eric Clapton but putting out a song about not getting the vaccine seems totally irresponsible right now. There are so many places in the world who are struggling so hard during this new wave.
Yeah, it’s like, aside from BTS, my ults are all old rock groups like The Beatles, the Stones, Creedence and Zep…. Am I really going to be judging someone for being a bit of a minor douchebag…? *shrugs*
People are human. People make mistakes. Artists also, historically, are more troubled people…
I dunno. Times are different now to the sixties and the seventies. I probably wouldn’t be stanning or idolising an artist or group who was now trying to pull some of the kinds of behaviour rockers did then. I definitely might still think some of their songs were excellent though.
Depends on the art. Unless it something extraordinary that can overcome my disgust for the artist it’s unlikely.

This is very true. I will never be able to understand the massive pressure of being famous. All the advantages of being rich, successful and fame but the flip side of collapsing under the weight of it into drug addiction, alcoholism, anger issues.
I think the one thing I took away from the Billboard article is what Suga said about still being the same small men while this giant hurricane of fans and fame swirl around them. Even though they are the biggest group on the planet and the expectations of every move they make, they are still human beings who try and go about living their lives. Of course done under a giant microscope.
