I generally agree that BTS will always be gatekeeped in certain ways (only their English songs made by Western producers or literal CEOs of labels and their SOs seem to get the red carpet treatment by racist locals). The last thing the US music industry wants is mainstream Americans seeking out music sung in Korean. LGO, BWL, On, Black Swan never got the same benefits as Dyna and Butter.

But what am i looking at here specifically? Dyna is listed as one of the nominees...

I think it’s because BTS is under Bighit and never needed to be under a US label to penetrate the US.
