i know we're derailing the thread (sorry massive! i'm streaming tho!) but i wonder how is it in other countries. i honestly thought everyone does it like us.
there's no reason to have a site completely blocked. yes, blocking facebook, twitter, youtube, and similar while you're at work seems reasonable because they will most likely affect your work but at home? your students and employees deserve a break after hard work, why block the most popular apps? unnecessary

I know, I think they were lazy or something and decided to block somethings completely. But in youtube we can view some videos.

Preach. During high school they relented a bit but man are they strict on younger kids. I'm also from the US (and streaming Singularity right now lol)
