    I assumed her solo career was her kdrama - it's pretty rare to have a popular idol make their debut in a show and for them not to have an OST so I can see some Jisoo music in the near future regardless.

    Kdramas and kpop songs aren't even promoted the same way though. One has zero impact on the promotion of the other.

    The promo for the show will be set by JTBC and will have its own unique aspect. The crowd for an OST is also mostly the GP.


    I guess my point was more in terms of solo career starts go - starring as a lead in a big production and having an OST is right near the top. If anything, time has shown that an acting career seems the more desirable path for most big Korean idols.

    I mean they've ended filming in mid July if I remember well, this is why it's a surprise for me because usually kdrama premieres even before whole series are filmed. For example some kdrama that I was watching had filmed about 10-12 episodes when show premiered, and then they've filmed those last episodes and edited them asap.
