Kdramas and kpop releases, especially one like Lisa's that will probably target more international promotions regardless, are pretty far apart.
Don't think they'd impact each other much. Kdramas go on for two months.
Yeah but longer Lisa solo will take there will be that much gap between Jisoo drama and solo... they should really take advantage of her drama to launch her solo

I assumed her solo career was her kdrama - it's pretty rare to have a popular idol make their debut in a show and for them not to have an OST so I can see some Jisoo music in the near future regardless.

Kdramas and kpop songs aren't even promoted the same way though. One has zero impact on the promotion of the other.

There were rumours about inclusion on extra episodes so not sure.. plus shooting during covid is challenging as well

YG won't be the one doing any promotions for Snowdrop. That will be on the network airing it.

The promo for the show will be set by JTBC and will have its own unique aspect. The crowd for an OST is also mostly the GP.
I guess my point was more in terms of solo career starts go - starring as a lead in a big production and having an OST is right near the top. If anything, time has shown that an acting career seems the more desirable path for most big Korean idols.

I mean they've ended filming in mid July if I remember well, this is why it's a surprise for me because usually kdrama premieres even before whole series are filmed. For example some kdrama that I was watching had filmed about 10-12 episodes when show premiered, and then they've filmed those last episodes and edited them asap.
