There is no chord at the beginning.

I see why didi think it's similar, but it's just a timbre similarity between 2 instruments ( electric guitar).

The melody they are doing is different, psycho one is just the same notes (A#,G#,D#) that are playing constantly, while death note theme is a melody repeating every 2 bars, but the last note of the melody is alternating each bar.

In fact they are quite the opposite in terms of pattern

The rhythm is quite simple to hear since it's the guitar melody repeating... Maybe the key is difficult to hear, but I was never good at identifying keys
