... is a problem ever since forever so i don't understand why some think BLACKPINK started it.
The difference is: BLACKPINK has a huge akgae/solo followers to all four girls while in others groups were most mainly with 2/3 members.
And i think while akgaes are hell, they are also one of the reasons to why BLACKPINK is treated like 4 it girls and they are also the reason the girls do get some "promos".
Unfortunately they are a pro and con "thing" and tbh the companies see them more like a con hence BP being so promoted as 4 soloists .. and this is also the reason why akgaes are so loud within blinks, bc they have more content to fight enjoy than us, blinks, have to enjoy... So yes, i think akgaes did took a turn within BLACKPINK and showed this means.
Anyways, i don't have a clear direction here, just saying that akgaes existed since always, but it is my first time seeing such huge part following all members of the group. I can't say I'm happy with the situation within my fandom, but also knowing how YGE treated their others groups i can say i prefer how they focus on all 4 rather than just in 2. So yes.
