On July 6th, Coldplay tweeted that new music would be coming soon in "about half a lunar cycle" which is around 2 weeks. 7/19/21 is 13 days after 7/6/21, almost 2 weeks. Here's that tweet:

I think they will push "My Universe" (the song BTS will feature on) as a single when the album releases on 7/19/21.

This seems like a good theory, but I have 2 problems with it:

1. Coldplay are British, the date format they use is day/month/year, not month/day/year so it doesn't make sense for them to announce a July 19th release date, 17th September, however, is more likely.

2. 19th July is a Monday and most albums are released on Friday, at least in the West. 17th September is a Friday.

The song is getting leaked from radio stations as you can hear ads being played along the song in few leaks . That means the song is abt to b released in coming one month. By Sept im sure the whole song will be leaked with the way sniplets are getting leaked on daily basis .

Most western acts release at least 1 single prior to the release of album, so the single in late July and the album on 17/9 still makes sense. I probably should have made it clear I was talking about the whole album.

Looking back at it, even the tweets quoted do not necessarily refer to the same thing - the first is about the album and the 12917 hint, the second is about music in general, so a new song in ~2 weeks.
