i honestly don't enjoy those three title tracks at all... and i'm saying this as an army. I really wish they'd go back to their older style and stop just releasing english tracks. it did it's job, but now i think it's not needed anymore honestly
I think next song will be in Korean for sure.

Both flops

To be very honest, now that I think better, none of their English songs are that great in my opinion.
BTS is much, much better, both singing in Korean and following their songs in their KR discography.
I think the English songs aren't as great because it has less BTS input. It shows how their involvement in their work from writing, production everything is just far superior.

Yeah I mean we know that they are releasing English singles because of pandemic. If not for pandemic, they wouldn't have released any (probably). Dynamite and PTD also revolve around this. I also didn't like PTD but I can see people enjoying it especially the last part.
I think this one is the last one though. I think they'll go back to regular releases not surrounding the theme of the pandemic after this one since both of the last 2 English singles are released in a CD.

And it's visible (well, listenable).
Their involvement in their music makes a whole different.

Yep. I see the English tracks as just something carefree that has not much thought and they are doing it for the situation and because why not
I can't stand poppy type songs and i'm more a fan of the heavily rap influenced ones but I know this is not their permanent direction so I don't plan to be popping veins like some.
Can't wait for Bangtan to be back in the drivers seat.

ptd
I really love ptd and it's been growing on me a lot but I would like a korean comeback from bts at some point. I adore their english songs but I would like a more rap-heavy badass song next time like fire, dis-ease or anpanman. I'm sure they'll come out with even more masterpieces when the next album comes around, and I don't hate ptd, I actually love it. I can't help dancing to it every time I hear it!

what english songs lack is rap. hobi and yoongi aren't fluent and cannot rap long verses, it's four lines tops. both dynamite and ptd have melodic rap because it's easier to deliver lines. butter, amongst other things, is my fave because it has actual rap. i watched few reactions on youtube and all were ecstatic hearing it was included. bts needs rap. compare this to dis-ease. you just can't.
telepathy is an example they can make a quality pop song, i wish they tried doing the song by themselves and not rely on foreign producers. ptd just doesn't fit them. and screw grammy dream, it's not worth it anyway.
i'll stream the song only because they are the cutest and i want to see their happy faces and them having fun
