Majority of the fans in a fandom only care about their bias?

  • Agree or disagree? :whatb:

Do you think that majority of the fans care more about how their bias is getting treated rather than the whole group? It was said to me by a kpop fan (a blink) on twitter. Unless whole group is getting mistreated, then one can see unity in full majority for all of the members. What's your take on it? :whatb:

  • I can neither speak for or on behalf of others - My thoughts and opinions are mine alone.

It is easy to generalise or stereotype a group of people based on the actions of some or even a large minority.

It is often the less vocal or passive members of a group that are generally the majority but because they do not speak out the ones which shout, scream, rant, rave are often the ones considered the majority.

Now to answer your question - no I do not think only about my favourite member of a group - they are my favourite and I want them to succeed just as every member of that group.

There's no I in team, you cannot have a kpop group with 1 member (that's a soloist) - do i think that my fav should get more lines or screentime or more endorsements - truthfully no...my favourite should get as much recognition as she deserves and if that is more than other members - great. If not then so be it.

  • I cant even pick a bias :pepe-excited:

Cant speak for other fandoms but i think most of the armys care and love the group. Sure they all have a bias but they care about all the members. Akgaes are a different story though.

  • I'm pretty sure most fans care about the entire groups.

Akgaes would like to pretend the opposite, but that doesn't make it true.
