when Kpop groups promote in the West and obviously lip sync (so no pre-recorded vocals or other tricks that could potentially leave viewers, especially those unfamiliar with the Kpop industry, fooled).

they sing live but it sounds bad?
Personally I think lip sync is worse representation of kpop because it makes Westerners think Kpop idols are fake AND talentless, at least with terrible live vocals they can just be talentless.
