Amber is not problematic

  • You're right and you should say it. If Amber was conventionally pretty, she wouldn't recieve HALF as much as she does

I mean, I agree what she said was wrong. But the shit she has received in response is way out of proportion. Call her out. While she did apologize, you don't have to forgot. But making up rumors of her being pregnant? Whatever the hell else people do to her? Yeah that's tied to her face and it's not ok.

  • oh i saw that same video...

didn't she literally say a black man deserved to be arrested for eating a sandwhich tho? racism isn't an honest mistake. if she defends police brutality and apologized after she was cancelled, then that really shows her true feelings about black people. if she wasn't racist then she wouldn't have said it in the first place.

idk why y'all take such offense over someone unstanning a group for an idol's problematic behavior. it's not like that person was making up pregnancy rumors or bullying her, which are wrong, but they just felt uncomfortable stanning her... why would anyone financially support an artist who believes police brutality is justified? like for me, i can put my own family members in that man's place. like what if that was my cousin or uncle or nephews? it legitimately could have been. but i don't even have to make that comparison to feel empathy for him, it should be enough that he's a person. but amber didn't have empathy at all, she just said he deserved it and should have respected the police officer. i completely understand why someone would be disappointed, disgusted, and wanting to unstan her.

But people literally have made up malicious rumors about her and bullied her. Obviously she was wrong but she literally recognized tthis and made a sincere apology about it, more than most people do. And its obvious that her views have changed with her fervent support of BLM this year. You don't have to forgive her, its your decision, but the extent that people go to hate her is way too much. Thats what I think

  • I mean I agree but you can't really blame kpop fans esp those who belongs to black community to not forgive her. What she said was indeed wrong. I normally back idols in the issue of cultural appropriation etc but defending police brutality towards a minority community is not any light issue. I still wonder what was going on her mind to even say that.
