SM produce great GGs but people hate SM and that hate bleeds into their groups. the initial reaction is always negative but then it becomes harder and harder to resist the groups' charms the more people see of them. then there is also the fact many people consider SM groups to be a threat to their faves that's why they try hard to bury them as soon as they debut.
