Omg soooo proud of them! I wonder if they were also boosted by Resonance era. I think (not sure) WayV also broke their own records with their comeback even with Winwin and Lucas not joining for most of the performances. Now I’m curious how 127’s next comeback is gonna perform.

We will know when YouTube chart is released on Sunday.

But yeah safe to say 40-60% of views will be ad views if you were to ask for my guess. If it’s less I’ll be very surprised.

Anyway SM took the JYP route for ad views for the first few weeks. To know the true potential of a song the views it has after a few months is a better indication.

Note : this is a guess. It may turn out that they have way less ads in which case congrats will be in order.

One thing to use ads during first week cause it's good promo almost every company does, using ads first day is another thing cause it skews the reality of a comeback. So many people in this thread just believing Dream was able to hit that number and it being a sign of fandom power when its nothing but SM buying views to look better.

Wonder if Exo will get the same treatment (cause it does show that SM is pushing the group) or will they be left out like Taeyeon

Which view counter are you talking about? I usually check YouTube chart. Which doesn’t get updated till Sunday right?

Yeah sunday, when i go to the MV is says 10M views, but in trending it says over 40M. Also they reached 15M in 16 hours (according to Kpop on Charts twitter account), which means they got over 15M more streams in the last 8 hours, which is not how that works.

That happens but that doesn’t tell us anything about ads views. It’s just a cache in numbers being reflected on YT.

The YouTube chart is the only source for non ad views.

Fair enough, knowing previous Dream 24hr YT views and that SM used 24 hr ads for MAW I was suspicious and seeing the 16 hour breakdown I am certain they used alot of ads. But waiting for YT chart is best cause it's fully accurate.

Congrats NCT Dream! Their results this comeback have been beyond amazing. Could you imagine their power if SM actually promoted them and gave them multiple comebacks per year like most groups, I don’t think we’d be ready.
