I don't know many stats about SNSD, but I just did some quick searching on Wikipedia and Genie, and it's an honorable mention now. It did better than PARTY too.

No, this is a cumulative list. Every 2017 song up there had more longevity on Gaon than Knock Knock. It's why I didn't have Ko Ko Bop either.

Monster didn't do as well as FIRE or FXXK IT, so it's a no in my opinion.
Universe had decent longevity but not enough to match the honorable mentions., much less the top 5.
Ko Ko Bop had a strong start, but low longevity.

Too many hits in 2017 but KK was very big as well. Even Really Really didnt make it into top 5.
KK was just missing something in longetivity
Here's my reasoning.
3. DTNA - 61 weeks (2nd in terms of longevity for Twice, 2.5M Genie ULs, 5M Melon ULs)
4. IDOL - 79 weeks (4th in terms of longevity for BTS, 2.4M Genie ULs, 5M Melon ULs)
5. Bboom Bboom - 43 weeks (2.4 M Genie ULs [slightly less than IDOL], 4.9M Melon ULs)
DTNA hit its Genie and Melon milestones before IDOL did, which is why I have it a place above.
IDOL charted top 100 on Gaon Yearly Chart in both 2018 (#70) and 2019 (#49).
Bboom Bboom might have the most digital points of the 3 by about 60 million, but its other metrics and longevity aren't as good as the other 2 songs.
Anyways I do think knock knock deserves a honoured mention given it ranked #8 on gaon yearly. It's impressive. Longevity isn't the end all.

LIKEY did slightly better than Knock Knock in the long run.

Genie UL: 2.178 million > 2.105 million
Weeks to 2.5M downloads: 121 weeks > 134 weeks
The only place KK does better than LIKEY is on Melon: 4.4M ULs < 4.6M ULs
