eye contact lenses or glasses?

glasses because god forbid you end up falling asleep with contact lenses still inside

it feels so dry and itchy

If you have the monthly soft len contacts like I do, then contacts all the way.

You can sleep and shower and everything in them and you forget you're wearing them tbh.

Just change them once a month.

I've never worn contacts, but I do wear glasses..so ig those are more comfortable

Reading glasses. I’d hate to have to wear contacts and I’ve heard they can hurt putting them in.

Especially now with masks I use contact lenses more than glasses, they're more comfortable at least for me

More attractive to myself and others I can't tell you how many outfits have been ruined by glasses. I always feel nerdy and unattractive and would freak out when ppl snapped pictures, trying to quickly whisk them off for a good shot. I remember the moment I had to get glasses was absolutely horrific. I went from being cool and confident to nerdy and unsure of myself. When I lost my expensive ones, I had to wear huge plastic grandma ones that absolutely traumatized me. People would pick at me, bully me, or make snarky comments about how I'd be pretty and even popular if I stopped wearing them. I now wear the rimless invisible ones, but they still make me look like I should be at work instead of partying.

It is of note that your corneas actually derive an oxygen supply directly from the air. having contact lenses will suffocate them. Its not catastrophic though, as long as you don't wear eye contacts constantly (aka don't wear them to sleep but I bet none of you do)

Your eye doctor will tell you if you're getting blood vessel growth that impinges on your iris though (the result of oxygen starvation).

Also, today's contact lenses are easily 5X+ more oxygen permeable than a couple decades ago.
