Soyeon is a music genius without a doubt, but like every musician she got her style (and that's a very good point), and this style suit to (G)I-DLE. If Cube got a new group, they can ask Soyeon help for sure, but did Soyeon style will suit this new group style ? Also, Soyeon doesn't do everything on her own, she works a lot in collaboration with other people like all groups.

It's all about style and concept, the people involved in the music creation need to suit the same concept.

I agree, I think she will still produce for Gidle but for Lightsum, I am not sure. I don't really think it fits her usual style. But who knows?

She might still produce for Cube but I don't think right now she's gonna become a huge producer, maybe after she's done in G Idle though

And just to point out, Cube's groups will be fine without the help of the G Idles

i think they will find someone who is talented in writing music in their new group i guess

their groups pretty much write their own music tho if i am not mistaken

i really like Pentagon's Shine it was hit material

but i guess Soyeon will help here and there maybe

I see. Well, of course Soyeon is an ace and the key element to (G)I-DLE's success but she's not mandatory to every group for the ages to come. Especially if Lightsum goes with an entirely different concept, which they seem to. So obviously Soyeon, as a Cube producer/idol, might end up contributing to something... Doesn't even have to be a title track, could just a b-side. Who knows? It's too soon to tell. But Soyeon is not mandatory to everything Cube does.
