keep it simple, don't be creepy, offer to buy her a drink and if she vibes with you, go ahead and order a finger food appetizer to share.
at the end, "hey i really think you're beautiful, let me treat you to a real meal on x-day if you're free"
after you say that, the ball's in her court to decide and reply.

"hey are you with someone? i think you're attractive and want to take you out."

i dont know if you're a woman but do you see such a simple shallow ( even if completely heartfelt ) compliment being taken seriously?

this hinges on them getting through the initial and sharing an appetizer and clicking well with each during this conversation.

the main obstacle is having good vibes with each other. sometimes looks alone can turn people off - not from being physically unattractive, but from a certain look of desperation some guys have. even after that vibe, you have to be careful not to be scanning the room for other women, you have to touch her enough and not touch her too much. you have to be able to get her to talk about herself and try to have a funny story or joke that isn't disgusting.

makes sense
in general, its not strange to ask someone on a date because of appearance or vibe is it?

it really depends on a lot of things and if you're nervous and can barely look at her without blushing...you may not give off the safe vibe most women need.
there's some quote about missing 100% of the shots you never take, but i think it should be added that people without balls can never take a shot to begin with.
good luck, guy.

Errr I don't function like that, so this wouldnt happen for me.
Like if there was something it still wouldn't be enough for me ask them out, it may be enough for me to converse with them again in persuit of aqquitance ship or getting to know them better via a simple hang out, at some point I'll know if I like them then just ask...
It doesn't work with my logic to start a romantic connection on a first impression and limited information.
But just having a casual hangout platonic might help.
