This is what we mean by BTS paving the way. Their success and continued growth since 2015 has consistently opened doors to others, this is just the latest millionth example. Keep writing history BTS :borahae:

  • Of course it’s Aespanjeans again… disappointed but not surprised, especially since Armys are their biggest audience anyway.

Honestly, I don’t get why so many people still follow such a disgusting account.

They just tranlate news article majority of times and atleast it more accurate than those theqoo posts , the very same platform that haven't accepted new users since 2020 and is just filled with salty big3 stans.

They wouldn’t have built this kind of reputation among most non-Hybe kpop fans on Twitter if the majority of their content was just translations. And I’m sure, with how huge Army’s fanbase is, you guys can afford to find better account as translation sources lol.

  • Honestly I preferred when it was still on vlive. It’s not like as if telecasted concerts is new in kpop lol.

It is about access and stability - does Vlive keep concerts for a license time before taking it down? It is a way for Netflix to keep customers especially if they are increasing prices, cancelling shows on cliffhangers or incomplete, they have more miss/blah shows than good ones etc.

In recent years, I only truly love BEEF season 1, KDH of course, and some Asian drama they picked up. Not so much their western content.

Netflix is also the same. Netflix can and have removed even Netflix original programming so that’s not that different between vlive and Netflix.

As for accessibility that’s debatable. I found v live where all kpop groups posted everything far more accessible than streaming services which can become distributed. Like for example kdramas are split across Netflix Disney etc etc same thing might happen here HYBE may choose Netflix maybe JYP chooses Disney.

All of this makes kpop less accessible for corporate greed. But that’s just my opinion. Across kpop and kdramas when streaming companies try to acquire the IP.

  • Well, Netflix saw a lot of value here but they should be asking themselves if they can get simmilar results with someone else lol

Still, literally, to the surprise of absolutely NO ONE, a single BTS event creates opportunities for the industry
