[enter-talk] WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT BTS BEING HATED ON COMMUNITY SITES BECAUSE OF THEIR PERFORMANCE RIGHT NOW?

  • [enter-talk] WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT BTS BEING HATED ON COMMUNITY SITES BECAUSE OF THEIR PERFORMANCE RIGHT NOW?

With this comeback concert, fans on both Instiz and TheQoo have been going back and forth for weeks now, constantly discussing BTS and debating whether they like their performance or not, 24 hours a day. I'm curious to know what the P*nn-girls think

The general public's reaction is freaking bad, it's the worst nuisance ever, seriously. They're asking for it;; But there's no point asking on P*nn because the ARMY ahjummas are all manipulating the top comments anyway, so just tryㅋ

    Objectively, it's a nuisance

    3. [+106, -18]
Seriously, everybody is hating on them. No matter where you go, they will be called a "f*cking nuisance" and be bashed for their big ego

    4. [+91, -16]
It's not that there are no people hate them. The normal public doesn't care about your ahjussis. Only those ahjussis who have depreciating stocks and those elderly who boast about patriotism care about them

HYBE makes less money than a shipping company, what does it know about the Korean economy? That's not even funny. It's ridiculous to think that Bangtan fans are somehow helping Korea just because they bring in some money. Even major corporations that are doing really well and are hugely successful don't pull this kind of bullying, yet this company is doing it to ordinary citizens. Only Bangtan's diehard fans would like that, who else is going to look favorably on it?

  • The problem with community sites is that the bias are too strong. We can't blindly use it as an indicator for public opinion.

If several first comments of a topic being negative then most of that topic will be negative and vice-versa. The people with opposite will feel overwhelmed and less likely to comment.

Also negative spread out faster than positive.

It cant be that bad because according to the goofy polls that do that reputation index stuff - their positive reputation at more than 92%.

  • It's really about HYBE's reputation affecting all their groups and probably fatigue over BTS promotions because they are Idols whom are largely looked down on by South Koreans.

I really wish people knew these sites aren't indicative of the public's consensus. The most "shock value" comments get the most attention, but they don't reflect the average Korean's opinions.

Most Koreans don't really care about K-pop that much. They're indifferent to it or they tolerate it, but they don't have strong opinions about it either way.

Of course, people would flock online to air their grievances about something they dislike, but that's not exclusive to just Koreans. That happens everywhere. It just gets a whole lot of attention because that's what people are drawn to.
