What can you do in Seoul in 2 days?

If you have 2 days, and presuming you do 1 activity in morning and 1 in the afternoon, this would be my recommendation:
- Kpop CD shopping in Myeongdong (if you go into the CD shops in the underground shopping mall next to the subway station there's loads of rare gems, and Myeongdong is one of the most bustling areas nowadays and famous for street food)
- Thrifting in Dongmyo Flea Market (the district made famous by GD, and also featured in the Cortis song Fashion, there's loads of great and unique clothes you can find. The stores put a lot of care into curating their collections so you won't be shuffling through tons of rubbish).
- Watching street dancers in Hongdae (If you're lucky you might see a kpop group)
- Touristy Stuff (Go to the top of Namsan tower, admire the view and eat Dongaseu (Korean Tonkatsu), visit the palaces and gates, see the Hanok villages (traditional Korean houses).
Then, you need to make sure you eat lots of good food. Korea has the best cuisine in the world. My recommendations:
- Korean BBQ (There's loads of different types, but I would recommend Samgyup-sal (pork belly) cooked over a briquette ("Yon-tan-goo-ee") , that's the classic Korean BBQ.
- Korean Fried Chicken (I would recommend going for "Ban-ban", ("Half/Half") where half is plainly fried, and half is covered in sticky sweet spicy sauce. Also order "Soon-sal" to get boneless chicken.
- Pajeon and Magkolli - Pajeon is korean savoury pancakes, and they come in loads of flavours (like seafood, chilli pepper or kimchi). Magkolli is a Korean rice wine that looks like milk and is around 5% but numbs your tongue. These 2 go together as a traditional meal.
- Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles - this is my favourite Korean dish, especially in the summer. It sounds weird. It's a spicy broth with noodles, a bit of beef, a slice of pear, and a tangy mustard, but it's served ice cold with ice cubes floating around in it, but trust me it's sooooooo good).
