And how, the queue for them was always the smallest one. And that did begin to affect them because it was always so consistent.

iirc Sungjin and Jae both went on mental health hiatus during Zombie era, and then the 3 active members Young K Wonpil and Dowoon formed EoD

Jae recovered earlier and did his own twitch stuff. He felt that company did not fully support his twitch stuff and he did got into some scandals (which were so stupid) in twitch which is probably why the company didn't support his twitch stuff.

He also complained about not being added into EoD afterwards.

I think he is probably more suited to be out of the KPOP influence where it is less restricted and especially when JYP is very pro on a "good image"

It wasn't just that though, the stuff he was talking about predated his hiatus. Like he was talking about how he had ideas to market the group, maybe give interviews to English outlets or whatever, and JYPE would just clamp down and tell him no. Whereas other members had ideas that got accepted.

That's my memory anyway.

unfortunately that is just how life is - unfair

some people are going to be more charismatic than you

some are going to be prettier

some are going to be cuter

some are going to be taller

etc etc

and if you are in a group in the public spotlight then naturally people will gravitate towards those who they find most appealing to them and if more people gravitate towards one person over another...not much can be done

there is always that question - would you rather be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?
