I compared BTS and IU to Napoleon and Wellington.
Warfare in 1850s were little different from warfare in 1810s, although the introduction of railroads did change things a bit.
Then the US civil war broke out in 1861, and although the South had better generalship, it had weaker infrastructure.
Also, Richard Gatling invented the Gatling machine gun. Although he was born in South Carolina, he moved to the midwest and at the time the war broke out he was living in Indiana, ruled by the North.
Warfare completely changed by railroads and machine guns.
Wellington would not have done so well against a typical American Civil War general. Wellington's squares would have been blasted off by machine guns.
From then, until the end of WW2, wars were railroad wars. Key rail junctions often became bitter battlegrounds.

Golden put an end to the traditional way of singing in Korea, a tectonic change.
IU came back again and again because she was the last of the traditional Korean singing style, not affected by trot, recreating ballads from late 1980s and early 1990s before Seotaiji.
But, unlike 2014 when she completely overturned the existing structure of KPop and restored the old order as if nothing had happened, and completely wiped out the 2nd genration off the table (She had a greater success among the 3rd gen, despite of being a 2nd gen singer), this time those who grew up listening her style of songs are now listening to trot, and all of her allies have gone over to Golden since it is the newest hot thing.
I think from now on all Kpop songs will be variations of Golden or Saja boys songs. Ending IU's style of older songs, emphasizing pure vocals, and introducing the new style KPop Demon Hunters introduced.
Because of IU, all KPop acts had to at least maintain some degree of older style singing. Golden has ended that forever.
