Do you think Sofia Wylie was right in her comment regarding BLACKPINK?

I think she's somewhat right because Jump wasn't it for me. A bop yes but BP can do better and I hope they will do better on their upcoming mini album (YG istg).

Honestly, unless Sofia was specifically asked about both Katseye and BLACKPINK, I don’t think her comment about BP was necessary. Without knowing the full context of the question she was responding to, it’s hard to make a fair judgment. Based just on that snippet, though, it feels like bringing BP into it wasn’t needed at all. For me, the missing context makes it difficult to fully weigh in, but from what we have, I don’t think she should have mentioned them.

I'll try to find the full clip, but I don't think interviewers will ever ask targeted questions like that.

It seems like the question was about her "current favorite artists." Which would kinda make sense for her to bring up KATSEYE with their lolla perf bringing a lot of attention to them and then BP because she's said a few years ago that she's a huge fan of them and they also recently released Jump and all that.
