Is VCHA disbanding or rebranding?

They should disband. I don't think a rebrand will do much for them. I guess the advantage is their time was short, so maybe it works out. I just don't think JYPE is ready to manage a global girl group. Say what you want about Hybe but they understood the proper ingredients needed for a global group and SM and JYPE didn't understand that.

I don't know the full details, but 2 members did indeed leave. There's an ongoing court case with 1 or both of them with how jype usa handled the group. I think judge recommended them to settle but unsure if that happens. I just don't think jype is ready and they need more time to evaluate where they went wrong with Vcha

Some people said they are rebranding as GRLSET.

JYPE recently trademarked the name. But, it could also just be JYP NGG. Especially since there have been a few female JYPE trainees seen outside of their building.

NMIXX is also heading into their 4th year. ITZY debuted 4 years after Twice. NMIXX 4 years after ITZY. JYPE doesn't seem to care about the status of the previous group before debuting a newer one so...

But at the same time, why not just delete the accounts all together rather than clearing out the posts?

So, it honestly could go either way.

usually losing one member is ok and the group can continue but losing two might lead to a rebrand

Knowing their situation and how they are treated, disbanding is their best option.

TRIGGER WARNING

Yes two members left, one is KG, she is the one with the legal case and JYP made her an offer, the judge seems to want this whole thing to go to settlement or arbitration, especially after JYP's response.

The other is Kaylee, she was on hiatus for health reasons from March 2024. Honestly best not to involve her in this mess, she was the youngest and was outed by KG (as far as we know without her consent) as trying to end her life (even going as far as to use private messages with her as proof on instagram and in her case despite it having nothing to do with her case, lowkey feels like Kaylee was used for shock value which is why people try to exclude her from this entire kind of convo) - note JYP never revealed this and when she left earlier this year they only sited health. KG even mentioned the method. Fans are also saying that KG's mom is a mega stage mom (but I couldn't be bothered to look into what they consider proof of that because the entire situation gives me the ick).

There are plenty of issues with how JYP managed the group, but from what we know, the other 4 want to continue. In all likelyhood, JYP probs offered them out of the contract but they decided to try again.
