gugudan was an nine-member girl group under Jellyfish Entertainment. They debuted on June 28, 2016 with the mini album Act.1 The Little Mermaid.

Their name stands for 'multiplication table' in Korean, and represent the nine different charms of each member.

They officially ended their activities and disbanded on December 31, 2020 after four years together and two of inactivity

Herstory

In January 2016, members Nayoung, Sejeong, and Mina represented their company in survival reality show, Produce 101, and all three managed to make it to the finals together. In the end, only Sejeong and Mina were the only one to make it to the final lineup of I.O.I, debuting afterwards.

On June 28 2016, the group officially debuted with Act.1 The Little Mermaid, with the title song "Wonderland".

In Early October 2017, it was announced that gugudan will be making a comeback as an eight-member group do to Soyee's leg injury and her taking a break from the group's activities

On May 17 2018, Jellyfish stated that Hyeyeon would be taking a break from activities due to health concerns. On October 25, it was announced that she would be leaving the group but would continue to be signed under Jellyfish.

On April 8 2020, it was announced Sally would participate as a contestant on the Chinese survival show Produce Camp 2020. She ranked 6th in the finale, thus becoming a member of Bon Bon Girls.

On December 30, 2020, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that the group had disbanded. The group officially ended activities on December 31. The company also announced that all members would remain under the agency.

gugudan OGUOGU was the first subunit of the girl group Gugudan. They debuted on August 10, 2017 with their first digital single "Ice Chu".

The subunit went on a hiatus after Hyeyeon's departure from the main group on October 28, 2018, and officially disbanded on December 31, 2020, following Gugudan's disbandment.

"Ice Chu" is the debut digital single by gugudan OGUOGU, the first subunit of gugudan. It was released on August 10, 2017.

gugudan SEMINA was the second subunit of the girl group gugudan. They debuted on July 10, 2018 with the single "Semina".

The subunit officially disbanded on December 31, 2020, following gugudan's disbandment.

"Semina" is the debut and only single album by gugudan SEMINA, the second sub-unit of Gugudan. It was released on July 10, 2018 with "Semina" serving as the single's title track.
