What's your opinion on 5th generation group

To me, this generation comes across as less impactful and less attention-grabbing. There's more focus on individual members than the group dynamic itself, and while performance quality is emphasized, I think the overall song selections are quite underwhelming.

It's funny, I almost completely disagree with this while agreeing with then rest of your points.
5th gen is just a boring lump of underwhelming. The musics not really hitting at all, theres no personality in it...
I still haven't added any 5th gen music to any of my playlists except KioF.
But... I also feel 5th gen is weak because for me there seems to be no focus on members individually. So far, for me anyway, theres been no standout members for any 5th gen groups. No one who jumps out and makes me think "Wow, I want to know more about this person", no focus on individuality or unique member points. The groups are a just a blob of more or less interchangeable whoevers. You could show me a photo of any 5th gen group member (with exception of KioF) and I'd have no idea who it is or what group they are in.

actually, what I meant by 'focus' was a bit different. Even though the members are individually more 'skilled' or 'strong,' they end up getting lost within the group. but these individual members are more visible in this way. For example, Woonhee in ILLIT, Ahyeon in BABYMONSTER, and Ian in H2H. I wasn’t referring to people like Karina or Wonyoung in their group.

might be an unpopular opinion but i actually like a lot of them; 5th gen is home to several of my fave ggs and has a few bgs than i can actually tolerate and feel something for.

I'll speak only of GG - they have a very uphill battle to fight
they have to compete with the likes of WY and Karina for GG individually and the likes of Gidle, IVE, LSFM, Aespa and NJ (when they return) plus the mirad of next tier groups like Itzy, KIOF, StayC, Nmixx etc etc
then they also have to compete with established third gen groups like Twice, BP, RV - yes all of these group's presence have lessened but they are still around
-
less popular and less impactfull debut than the previous gen
But i like many of them so it's okay.
They can improve their skills and develop their careers in the future
