According to Star News on the 8th, Blitzway Studio is positively negotiating an exclusive contract with Yeri. Yeri recently had a meeting with the agency regarding the contract and is said to be working on finalizing the details. A representative from Blitzway Studio confirmed to Star News, "It is true that we met with Yeri," but remained cautious in their statement.
Blitzway Studio is an entertainment agency that represents actors such as Joo Ji-hoon, Jeong Ryeo-won, In Gyo-jin, So Yi-hyun, Son Dam-bi, Moon Chae-won, Jeong In-seon, Woo Do-hwan, Park Ha-sun, and Yoon Park. Since Yeri recently ended her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, her discussions with Blitzway Studio are believed to be aimed at focusing more on her acting career.
Yeri, who debuted as a member of Red Velvet in 2015, began expanding her career into acting in 2021. She has appeared in works such as 'Drama Stage - Mint Condition,' 'Blue Birthday,' and 'Cheongdam International High School,' continuing her acting activities.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment announced on the 4th that Yeri and Wendy's exclusive contracts had expired.
