Why would SM spend boatload of money on thirteen plus exo dudes when Baekhyun sells more

I have already said he'll have to record the songs before enlisting. I just don't see the viability of releasing an album while he's serving or if that's even allowed and I think it would be kinda weird to keep releasing separate singles every now and then while he's away. But let's see how they'll work it out.

because other exo member's solos can all sell over 250k albums and exo-sc subunit sold over 1 mill combined, which is better than 90% of the industry.
