How do you find enjoyment in work?

u can't its impossible you just have to accept that you're a miserable slave and get out as fast as you can

Do something and become proud of it. it might not be worth it in the end but that feeling of pride is what helps me through carpet-chewer level assignments

I think that one of the most important thing is to either see the joy, the purpose or the benefit of your work. I understand people who despise working when they don't see anything worth in their job. Working is never a joyride but when you have something driving you then it is a mean to something, not the bane of your exsistence. I have no illusions about a life without work.

After 25 years of work at the same place and my only job this far in life I just do it. It's good colleagues that make is bearable, well not all are great and you don't get allong with everyone, but still.

I used to make it a point to get up and move, even if it was just for a quick snack or a trip to the food vending machines. Think about it this way: Making money is making money, but not growing money. Investing is growing money, but not making money.

My career is my passion I suppose so it kind of works out. Despite that, it can be quite stressful, idk how people can do something they hate for 40 hours a week.

I try to have multiple hobbies and make them important part of my life so that I always have something to look forward to at the end of the day.

The actual work I just think as filler episode in day and don't find much enjoyment from it. Office as well I don't like much so I tend to have headphones on and avoid any small talks with colleagues . I do my job and always think of going home.
