Given the way things are going in Korea, with the plane accident and all the political mess, it is unlikely that Dispatch will play with the potential couple thing this year.
So I have to go back in history.
2021 was BTS ' year.
It won the most #1s in Hot 100, and the heavens, earth, whatnot all adored it.
It was the most awarded act in the entire world, and I still remember the list

Ed Sheeran, allied to BTS
Justin Bieber, Hybe
Taylor Swift
Olivia Rodrigo
Dua Ripa
Meghan Thee Stallion, all of her awards because of BTS
and BTS had sucked in all the competition that a domestic act, who will be featured very prominently in the next passages as expected in my posts, was the 9th most awarded singer in the entire world.
Yet when Dispatch revealed the potential couplings,
IU, then the owner of Edam Entertainment, was in 9 couplings,
and BTS was only in 4 couplings, 2 of them with the Owner of Edam Entertainment.
The Owner of Edam Entertainment was paired with Park Seojoon, Baekhyun (Exo), Sung Sikyung, Yeo Jingoo, Jang Kiha (her ex), Jukjae and GDragon,
as well as BTS' Suga and Jungkook!
Jungkook was also paired with Lee Yubi (an actress, whose sister married Lee Seunggi) and Sana of Twice.
No other BTS members were paired with anyone.
So, in the Korean psyche,
IU occupied 9/22 spots
JK occupied 3/22 spots
Suga occupied 1/22 spots
The rest occupied 0/22 spots!
In other words, no matter how much success BTS ,ahd,
in the minds of Koreans, The Owner of Edam Entertainment was about 3 times as relevant as an individual member of BTS.
no matter how much success BTS racked in,
that did not impress the locals,
who still thought the Owner of Edam Entertainment was more relevant than all of BTS put together!
The unwillingness and inability of the Owner of Edam Entertainment to stop undermining KPop, combined with the inability of BTS to remove the Owner of Edam Entertainment from competition, eventually led to an irreversible decline of BTS" power.
