What is the motivation behind plagiarizing art? (From someone already popular)

You would be fighting an uphill battle immediately. The case with Izna really confuses me because their company has the means to promote them well and get their name out there.

The design wasnt even that like appealing in my opinion too and it was like one for one. Whats the point?? Not even color swaps??? Like why do this, to get your name out?

I’ll add that theyre changing the design but the original is on the internet forever now and like went through literally every stage of approval.

I feel bad for the girls because like their only part in this was to sit and take a picture and then all of the editing was done by the design team but what was the thought process aqui
