    Okay, maybe IDLE and LSF are debatable, but they're close enough numbers wise for that to be reflected in their Circle Digital Index scores.


    As for the top three, it's accurate. This is why I said people need to chill on shading IVE, as their numbers are still overwhelming compared to every other girl group, other than the top one.


    As I have said for almost two years now, this is the gap, even in a "flop" era or "down" year, the sustained digital dominance of NewJeans is historically awesome.

    Oh, but I should mention the all-time record for points is 4.2 billion, set by none other than NewJeans.


    This is why I said they're light years ahead of their competition, and that there is indeed a monstrous gap.


    Even an "underperforming year" was only woeful enough to still give them twice as many points as the group people have been desperate to pit against them this year.

    I don't think it was ever in question that NewJeans is currently the top group. Or that the other members in that top girl group rank are Aespa, Le Sserafim, (G)I-DLE, and IVE.


    My issue with NewJeans is the same that I had with Blackpink: they have like one great song (possibly an excellent song in NewJeans's case), and the rest of their releases are merely okay or even good. Their recent releases are probably the worst ever.


    More broadly, the top groups are slumping hard for me in the last year at the same time, so it aggravates the issue for me.

    The gap is even larger internationally bc NewJeans has actually gone mainstream and familiarised themselves with the casuals outside of the Kpop sphere. Like they say in marketing - exposure is everything, the more a brand is seen the more it becomes part of everyday conversation, and no one in Kpop has been able to market themselves better than NewJeans.
