I was lowkey dragging him because i hate SM's constructed image of him, which is very perfect boyfriend boynext door etc. So i stopped watching the M/V.
But then around 2:16, that R&B hit and i thought it was a different song. Ok, if we get more slow jam R&B from him, then maybe he has a chance at a solo career.
Don't get me wrong, its not perfect, but things like the use of back-up vocals, that could have easily been Jaehyun, but they choose to use a more soulful voices etc, show SM is willing to try new things.
So overall, we thinking i was gonna write a post dragging him, but it turned into slight praise ig. 4 or 5/10

i am one of them but haven't posted about this cause i am not personally not interested in jaehyun all that much. And i haven't gotten around to listening to this song yet.

I liked both Songs tho, but wished that both were their own songs.
I did liked Roses better too, that R&B sound is definitely his! I hope he sticks to it. Yeah that perfect boyfriend image is really forced on him… I hope they reduce it from now on.
But I really liked him with the kids tho. It suited him !
