I saw some knetz having this discussion and was curious what you guys thought.
My thoughts: While we all know Tiffany is one of the best singers in kpop, I have my doubts. Pop music singing and musical theatre singing are completely different ballparks. In musical theatre even the background characters can out sing Beyoncé and Ariana combined. I would've been skeptical even if it were Taeyeon leading a play. I just think a lead role in a play for a kpop singer is a bit ambitious, and from what I've heard of Tiffany, I don't think the range is there for a female lead of a play.
P.S. I hope we can have an honest and respectful conversation without letting our love for Tiffany (whom I'm sure most of us love) make us become defensive or hostile
