K-pop girl group New Jeans will be the face of Korean tourism.
According to the music and tourism industries on the 3rd, New Jeans was selected as the '2024 Korean Tourism Honorary Ambassadors' by the Korea Tourism Organization.
New Jeans, who debuted in 2022, has enjoyed great popularity with every song they have released, from 'Attention', 'Hype Boy', 'Ditto', 'OMG', and most recently 'How Sweet'.
There was a conflict between Min Hee-jin, the CEO of their agency, Edo, and their parent company, HYBE, this spring, but they have recently shown unwavering popularity by selling out their Tokyo Dome concert in Japan.
The appointment ceremony for New Jeans as Honorary Ambassadors for Korean Tourism is scheduled to be held this month.
