Hype Boy is the biggest NewJeans song and Love Dive is the biggest IVE song.

Hype Boy in particular never hit #1 on the chart, and is already the most streamed 4th gen song in MelOn history and a week or two away from being the most streamed 4th gen song in the history of Circle.

For aespa, we'd need to do an objective comparison of how SN has performed relative to Next Level.

Yep. Undoubtedly. Ditto would be in the running for one of the biggest girl groups songs ever...if Hype Boy didn't exist. Hype Boy didn't peak as high as Ditto in terms of ULs, PAKs (it got none) or hours at #1 (it had none), but its longevity puts it in a stratosphere of its own.

Keep in mind that last tweet was from December 2023, and Hype Boy has risen on the daily charts since then. It's charting at #21 and it's turning 2 years old next month.

I think PAKs isn't the best indicator

Hype Boy is still hovering about top 30 on the charts right now which is what I think is more impressive than and PAK. Love Dive for example also just spent its 800th day on the Melon Daily Top 100.

In the long run we shall see if any of these 4th gen songs are still in the chart 5 - 7 years later.

Like Spring Day is still on the Melon 100 despite being a 2017 song. Day6 You Were Beautiful and Time Of Our Life are around 10th - 20th position on Melon 100 despite being 2017 and 2019 releases. In fact those 2 Day6 songs are charting higher than any of the 4th gen 2022 releases. That is the longevity that makes songs impressive

so now we have two trinity

Next Level - Love Dive - Hype Boy

And

Ditto - I AM - Supernova
