BABYMONSTER once again lose their chance to reach wider audience & attract more fans

  • its the time of the year where rising & popular idol are perfoming on University Festival.. group like IVE and ILLIT already scheduled to perform on some Uni gigs.. i believe that this kind of show help to boost your popularity just like how IVE reach #1 on Melon after their performance on Dream Concert.

Baby Monster is currently 8 on Melon and i believe they can rise higher if they perform on Uni festival.. But sadly theyre busy with fanmeeting and seems like they will skip this year of uni festival season.. its kinda big lose tho, even BP perform on several University Festival back then

  • but you need to be invited and paid by student council

also we don't know if there were some offers and YG declined or if they didn't get anything...

  • Well, 1st: they didn't lose anything. 2nd: building a fandom and becoming popular slower only helps your career. Just look at all those overhyped talentless groups. They can keep their #1 spots and billion views etc, but their careers will end after 5 year or so.

This is why groups like SNSD, Mamamoo, EXID, EXO, Apink, Oh My Girl etc are still on the top, because they're talented and that's what helps them maintain their position.

The ONE and ONLY problem with Babymonster is YG and their lazy attitude. They thought they will dominate again like they did with 2NE1 and Blackpink. No company can be successful like that with the same type of songs. IF they won't change and hire REAL songwriters and composers and let the girls write their own songs or at least give them quality songs, they won't be HALF as successful as Blackpink were.

Or, you know, they can just go on the same route as they did with Blackpink. Promote them as models rather than musicians. That's what I'm afraid of, honestly. YG is wasting talentes for 10 years now.
