Does anyone listen to Western music as much as they did back in the 2010s?

Well... I don't listen to Danish music as much as I did a decade ago.
Like most of the times when I watch the Danish version of X-Factor now a days, I'm thinking "I've never heard this Danish song before" or "I've never heard of this Danish artist"
Even though I sometimes listen to Christopher. (but he is popular in South Korea)

Is he in a K-Pop group nowadays?

Same because I didn't listen much to it then either

Same level of interest, just lacking the same caliber of radio hits.

I would say so. But rather than saying I listen to Western music more than a decade ago, I would say I appreciate Western music a lot more & it's a lot more fun now to explore and dip into different genres, getting to know old classics from various cultures.
Back then I just listened to what was on the radio or popped up on YouTube recommendations. I occasionally went out of my way to discover new music. But now I do this a lot. Thanks to streaming services and its algorithm it's also a lot easier to find similar sounding songs.
But also... What makes you think 2020s music is predominantly K-Pop?
K-Pop is still a niche. It's not mainstream and probably never will. There will always be a few exceptions like BTS, BP & NJ but most people don't care about K-Pop.
The genres that are dominating are still Hip-Hop, R&B & Pop

yeah, i still listen to a lot of non-kpop music

I almost don't
Before wifi I was just western music like whats on radio and TV in 2010s when I was on the internet I was maybe 50-50 in the beginning, now it's like 10-15% western stuff only. In the last 3-4 years a lil bit less western music then now, but at the moment I discovered a lot bangers due to radio we listen to at work, so I went a small bit into more western music lol but I still mainly listen to JPop and KPop xD

Define Western. It it means: mainstream American music:
No, because I didn't listen much to it either then.
I do listen more to music from all kinds of countries in Europe, but also other continents. If you count the other countries in Europe it's a yes, but I also increased my listening to music from Asia, Africa and South America.

Define Western.
I meant "Western music" as in "music outside of Asia".
