The proof that Mac has less games than Windows is on Steam. But why?
Why does Mac have less games than Windows?

Because Microsoft bought C#, which means DX11, DX12 and so on.
Good move on their part, but its hard on us the rest.
-
Also Windows has a much larger user base which means more potential customers

on my macpro I use nvidia to emulate, and on my linux pc (this one) I use wine
Not even close, but close enough. Just got sick of all the Win11 updates with AI BS

I have a MacBook Air (which is the only computer I have), but I don't have BootCamp because it's not available on Apple Silicon Macs (which is my Mac). BootCamp is only for Intel-based Macs.
If I had BootCamp, I'd have the option to play way more games.
On October 2nd last year, I switched from Windows 10 to Mac because I wanted to learn how to use a Mac, and also to use the Mac for personal use. I was a Windows user for almost my entire life.

Because MAC is too rigid and it keeps people away from it, thus people use Windows to game
-
Because few people acctually have Macs? Means less market so companies focus on doing games for PC and maybe do a Mac version of the game. Not that strange.
