I agree - honestly though SHINee has become more Contemporary over the years, and that might have been a slight downfall - but I personally love it. It is sad to see how little views they get sometimes, but the boys said it themselves - they're doing it for themselves now - and that makes my heart incredibly happy.
I think they were M.I.A. (missing in action) for a super hot minute when it came to including a lit "body moving" song on their albums. Musically, to me, it fits in the progression of the uptempos in the catalog. SHINee has always been experimental, so it's not really "new" to the people who are aware of their catalog. I'm proud of how they pushed themselves and became great in the process.
I hope it inspires more guy groups to get dedicated to becoming the best artistic version of themselves too. Inspiration usually helps make the music better.
