    Changed the title of the thread from “NMIXX Run for Roses - finally an official version” to “NMIXX Run for Roses”.

    YK saved this song because he knows how to craft memorable vocal melodies.


    Musically, the fiddle in the pre chorus does not add anything of value to the overall song. How the producer attempted to fuze genre elements didn’t get any real traction. Whoever produced this should have went ahead and dropped the beat earlier in the song. Waiting 35 seconds for an underdelivering beat does not add anything compelling either.

    A bop.


    I really love how they are promoting this song.


    I'm happy that they decided to do a performance video and also sung this on It's Live. Glad someone recognized this one needed some more attention along with Sonar.


    I will say one thing, the choreo is not really giving me much. Especially the part where two members act like they are dueling in the middle. Like, they aren't selling that part well enough for me so it ends up looking kind of awkward.


    Overall, right now, JYPE has a B grade for me in terms of this promotion period. How good the title track is as well as how good the MV is will determine if it gets an A grade overall or bumped down.

    I swear it was another song (and you're right about where it is keyboardwarrior7), but wow, now I hear the similarities to those songs too. It's like a mismash with elements of all those songs!

    To be fair patrik-k, most of their promoted tracks (that I've heard) have been "mismashes" so this kind of is on brand for them. However, and maybe this is what you are getting at, IMO, unlike most of those, the mixes in this song actually go together instead of sounding discordant.
