Seriously question for business minded users who aren’t going to only think with their emotions:
How long does JYP give Lia to get mentally healthy so she can rejoin the group? 6 months? Longer? Since she’s not participating in the world tour and if the tour goes through the summer it will be close to one year since she was part of the group (went on hiatus in Sept).
Don’t tell me as much time as she needs because there’s a point in time when a business decision has to be made. I’m in senior management in the U.S. and while an employee can be granted family medical leave it’s not never ending. Also, it devastates my working environment because you have to pay the person full benefits while on leave and I don’t have the ability to replace them due to budget constraints. It really lets the team/department down. I want Lia to get healthy, but there may be a point in time when JYP and Lia need to move on. What if it’s best for her health to start a new occupation?
Also, what’s the longest that an idol has gone on hiatus and then rejoined a group?
Has there ever been a situation where an idol voluntarily left a successful group due to mental health and then the company replaced them?
