I think there are apps for this. K collect or sth.
Alternatively you can find pre made templates on reddit.
I actually tried out kcollect right before posting this but it’s not good, missing a lot of stuff and the collections are all messed up?? Idk how to explain it but it says I’ve collected 100% of a collection when I only have 1 card, and it says I’ve collected certain albums when I’ve only selected that I have the pc

I actually don't recommend going down the path of trying to acquire every PC for an album release unless you really want to stick with it and don't mind the stress.
But if you insist...
Do you have a binder? It's a good idea to fill it up with the cards you have, organizing it a way that works for you. Leave some empty spots for the remaining cards you want to get.
There are already templates available online if you look for them.
I'm not sure how helpful this would be since I just try to be happy with whatever photocards I get instead of actively trying to complete a collection, but that's my general idea of it.

Photocard collections are so vast and there are so many versions that it is really hard to track.
I don't collect photocards, only albums, but I store the photocards I get in a binder and organize them by eras, leaving empty spots for the albums I'm missing or putting a sticker as placeholder. I track the pulls and my album collection in a simple excel file. I suppose for photocards something similar could be done but if for me it's already a pain to update my excel file with all the new releases I can only imagine for photocard collectors.
Shawolzenl is a kpop merch collector on youtube who has videos on the matter, I think she has tutorials too. She has a huge collection and is very organized

well I just put everything in a binder by album release LTMs_Sammi puts her collection in a binder and a piece of paper in between if she's missing a card from that Era there's several templates or resources fans make to check what you're missing. I'm missing like 8 for sunyoul but they are rare and impossible to find
Okay more then 8 lol
